Justin Bieber: People’s Choice and Usher Protégé

At the age of 15, Justin Bieber already has obtained more celebrity than most musicians twice his age. With his new single, "One Time", he has conquered the difficulty of getting a song on the radio--I can't even get them to play my favorite jam! Of course, it all comes a lot easier with endorsements from pop royalty: Wyclef Jon, Justin Timberlake, Nick Cannon and Usher. However, none of this is why we are featuring Justin Bieber as a rising star.

A talented drummer, singer and songwriter- not to forget- he's only 15! Justin got his start in an unlikely place, on YouTube. Just like any other countless Youtubers out there, he made a simple video of himself performing a show meant for his family and friends that couldn't make it in person. The videos range from him playing the drums to singing A Cappella.

Not long after submitting his video, he became an instant online celebrity with millions of viewers and thousands of subscribers worldwide. This is what got the attention of his manager, Scooter Braun, and the rest is history [as they say]. So, in a lot of ways, the public was what catapulted Justin to instant stardom which is a welcome change from manufactured artists. At least this time, we know Justin can sing and play real instruments. This is why we are featuring him as a rising star.

We would be proud to produce and promote an event for Justin. It's not on the agenda at the moment, but there is a strong possibility down the road, as he releases more music, his fans in our area will want to see him in concert.
